As Lorelai Gilmore so excitedly puts it in a scene from The Gilmore Girls, “Coffee, coffee, coffee!” We are happy to introduce locally roasted coffee from La Prima Espresso, located in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. Even though we are primarily a tea shop, we are still coffee drinkers at heart and we love La Prima. We’re currently carrying four of La Prima’s roasts–Columbian Supreme, hearty and bold Celebes Kolassi (our favorite), Fair Trade Organic Sumatra, and Espresso Roast. The first three are already ground for drip coffee makers, and the Espresso roast is ground for espresso machines. We’ll continue to add more varieties to our inventory as demand grows. For now, we want to make sure that it’s fresh when you take it home. If there is a particular roast that you’d like, or if you’d prefer whole bean so you can grind it yourself, let us know and we can normally have it for you with 1-2 days. And we’ll be glad to ship anywhere you are if you can’t make it into Saxonburg. Seattle’s got nothing on us!
