Cool Gifts, Hot Tea. That’s how we describe The Stillroom, our small shop located off of the beaten path in a town that is off of the beaten path, 40 minutes north of Pittsburgh in Historic Saxonburg, Pennsylvania.
We opened for business in 2001 in a very tiny space selling “gifts from the good earth”… mainly bulk lavender, patchouli and items for crafting fragrance. What started out as a welcome gesture, our complimentary cup of herbal tea has grown into a lovely little tea and gift shop which is now permanently housed on State Street in Historic Saxonburg in a circa 1920 building.
Like a beautiful flower, we have evolved into a space that our customers just love. We carry an extensive selection of Stash Teas, Harney and Sons loose teas and an array of tea pots, cups and accessories. A melding of old and new, The Stillroom is a place where you can delight in the senses. The music, visuals, tastes and fragrances are calming and we encourage you to handle (most) of the merchandise!
Regarding our giftware, we think we have the coolest things around! From handpainted reverse painted mirrors to tussies mussies, wedding make up bells and wedding teas, day of the dead figurines, ambient music CDs, our favorite children’s DVDs, fairy items, porcelaine lithophane night lights, and so much more!

I stop into your rich and warm shop nearly everyday. It is a delight to see so many wonderful things collected together and available in one place. The tea is wonderful, the atmosphere is friendly, and the fragrances are soothing. The unique and decorative items throughout the shop make for great visits time and time again… I discover something new each time I’m in. As far as the Biscotti: Incredible!
