This is so much fun!

This event is so much fun! Here is your annual opportunity to go through the few items that you just “don’t know” much about.

Besides learning something from the experts and participating in a community event offer to you by Diamond Antiques & Gifts at 311 E. Sixth Avenue in Tarentum, the price to have items looked at has remained the same for years! That is worth something for sure!

Don’t miss it because like anything, this event is here and gone in the blink of an eye!

Do take some time browse around while you’re here. There’s quite a bit to enjoy!

Last of the grass.

Lemon Grass makes the best privacy screen on the Pittsburgh patio. Step out of the door and on a very hot day and you can catch the tiniest scent of lemon hanging in the air. It’s also great for the culinary kitchen if you are feeling adventurous!

The ceramic Woodland elf is one of my most favorite things I got from Diamond Antiques & Gifts. This little guy reflects my attitude most days. I’m always in some sort of deep thought about everything. Quiet, meditative, prayerful, thoughtful.

That’s how I try to be while I sip my chamomile tisane. Calming, light, fresh and kind of apple-ee in flavor. It’s my favorite hot beverage. Although I’m a tea monger, my favorite poison is the gentle and sober chamomile flower. Life has been a bit of a roller coaster as of late. This is when a moment of meditation in my day gets me through with a bit more ease.

Most of the tea order is out on the shelves. The Harney & Sons Pumpkin tea with a touch of milk is warm and oh so seasonal. If you don’t enjoy the mystery of this squash that is pumpkin then… well, I shall hold my thought on that. Lol

From carving to roasted seeds to pie and tea and coffee and candy and butter and so much more, you have to respect the pumpkin!

Hey, guess what!

September brings Diamond Antiques & Gifts Antique Appraisal Faire!

I’ll post the firm date as soon as I look at the shop calendar!
