Here is my instant iced tea recipe. You know, for suddenly when the mercury hits ninety degrees in early May.
Take a good sized mug and add almost boiling water about one fourth of the way up. Add your favorite tea bag, cover and let steep for a few minutes. (I’m brewing Blueberry Super fruit today)
If you like it sweet, add your preferred sweetener to the hot brew. Stir.
Then just start topping off the mug with ice. There you have it. Cold. Refreshing and thirst quenching!
The Stillroom has some really great teas that are even better iced!
We have coconut mango, white peach oolong, jasmine green, pineapple green, blue berry super fruit and lots more.
The hours at Diamond Antiques, (where we are now located) are Wednesday through Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 12-5. 311 East Sixth Avenue in Tarentum.
Oh, and since it’s Mother’s Day, we have Harney & Sons Mother’s Bouquet floral tea in a a silk sachet. It comes in a pretty reusable tag along tin!
To all of the mom’s out there, keep cool and have a peaceful day.
