The solstice has arrived and I am looking forward to the cold and sunny days in January. When the excitement of the holiday season is through, it is nice to put the feet up with a hot beverage when we are able to. I urge you to take a second to notice the daylight grow longer. Soon,we will be buying potting soil and seeds and thinking about Easter. It all happens pretty fast. My head is already having a spring fling as far as what I would like to have in the shop in the new year. I guess I will ponder that while I recline with a cup of hot tea. On another note my two year old electric range bit the dust and I have a houseful of guests arriving tomorrow so I’m going to plan B. I will be baking the ham in a crockpot. This should be interesting. If I don’t survive, I mean write before Christmas, I wish all one of you that read this blog a very Merry Christmas!
