Uh Oh! Wait! I see the mercury will be hitting almost 90 this week so I think I’ll wait until we get some real baking weather.
Scone mixes will be arriving next week!
I think it just makes sense because it is all about setting the mood for the upcoming fall season as crispy mornings slowly give way to brilliant September skies and sweater weather.
Homeschooling your brood? Maybe a lesson in high tea traditions might be fun! Or not. Just have that mix on hand for a weekend morning when your pod can gather around the morning table for a spot of tea and a sweet scone hot out of your oven with devonshire cream and honey! All you add is some heavy cream (thus the name cream scone). Even the kiddos can help it’s so easy!
A lovely scone mix and a package of good tea for the pantry is a good idea for that first morning when you have a blessed minute.
Sounds like a good plan.
